Building prognostic models using big data with Prof Kimmo Porkka

Guest Prof Kimmo Porkka together with host Dr Enrica Orsini talk about using big data to build prognostic models. Based on Prof Porkka’s experience on working with big data, he uses the Harmony Alliance as an example and gives an overview of data collection, the importance of data security and the importance to have the participation of a large network of hospitals or academic centers, and recognising the challenges behind that.
